Sidney Norton Deane

Sidney Norton Deane was the translator of St. Anselm’s major philosophical and religious writings at the turn of the 19th century. He also wrote a lengthy introduction to this volume in which he shows the impact of St. Anselm’s ontological argument for the existence of God has had on later philsoophers.
